All used boats are soldAS IS,with the exception of late model boats that still have a factory warranty. If we sell a late model used boat with a warranty, we will transfer all warranties to the winner of the auction. Our company checks all engines or out~board motor's for compression and run ability. If anything is needed when a boat comes in, we do it. We make sure all boats are in good running order. Some may need a little TLC and some may be in A-1 Pristine condition! If they have power we make sure the power is ready to go! If it needs a tune up, we do it. If it needs a belt, we put it on.Please read carefully about each individual used boat. We cannot be heldaccountable for every light bulb, switch, or pump that may be good or bad on all used boats.Also, please note that any trailers that come with the boats are also sold AS IS. If a trailer needs tires, hubs, lights or anything else you will need to do the necessary repairs to make the trailer road worthy. You are bidding on a 1994 Albin 28 Tournament Edition powered by a 6.5 Duramax BEAST Diesel with 1500 hours of use. For a diesel engine thats not even broken in yet, folk's! The previous owner was very meticulous, kinda corky, with all kind's of Nick Nack's and Custom Craziness as I call it all over the boat. Trust me folk's when you see the pictures you will understand why all the fuss...LOL!! All joking aside it makes me actually smile when I see these things because I know there is an old Salty Dog that really, really cares about his vessel. When I first arrived to pick up the boat I met a very nice older gentleman who was X-Millitary, and had everything put in a particular order on the boat if ya know what I mean. From the dampeners in the cabin to the little tiny custom cover he made to protect his little good luck Hawaiian Lady on top of the Helm it was a real treat. I Love getting trade in's, and taking in vessels that were pampered the right way because of gentleman such as this. The only thing we actually found when we checked her in was the Mermaid A/C system has a small leak somewhere, and will need to be repaired. Other than that everything works and she is ready for some fishing and cruising... BIG DECKS
I really like the proportions of Albin's 28 Tournament: plenty of cockpit, useful sidedecks and foredeck, a comfortable wheelhouse and cute cabin rolled into a nice-looking hull.
Serious fishers will find the cockpit to their liking, as will crew charged with tending mooring lines. There are no fairleads but instead recessed XOS-sized cleats around which you can easily wrap a thick line. The boat had four through-bolted rodholders, a marlin door with neat stainless-steel locking device and heavy-duty hinges, padded coamings on tracks for easy replacement and, with stainless-steel toerails tracing the cockpit, good support when leaning outboard. There is a neat internal moulded liner with self-draining non-skid decks, big scuppers than didn't flood the deck in reverse, and plumbing around all floor hatches. These led to two big infloor bait wells and a central fish well with macerator pump. Just behind the helm seat is a large tackle locker with two pigeonholes and two drawers, and there are two dry-storage drawers under the co-pilot seat While it was unplumbed and with square corners where bait could get trapped, the livebait tank in the transom had a high capacity. There was an additional dead-bait bin in the starboard corner; add a cutting board and you would have a fantastic boat from which to fish the reefs; add a gas barbie, some deck chairs and perhaps a rear Italian-style extended awning and you're looking at a venue for long lunches aboard. A marine stereo and cockpit speakers were provided. Triple rod, gaff and/or paddle racks cut out of Starboard plastic line the under gunwale areas, there are courtesy lights, and a bow thruster also.
