Description

Very good original condition, still has original carpeting, purchased from 2nd owner who purchased it around 1970 and kept it in dry storage. I have had boat for nearly two years and have done the following: outdrive water pump and seals replaced, new bellows and outdrive aligned, removed the original foam gasket between the cap and the hull and re-sealed with 3M semi permanent adhesive, restored hull finish to very good condition, boat gets a lot of compliments. I have used it at least 7 or 8 times in past two years and it has run great. Boat will do 33 mph with two adults and is very economical to run. I have pulled two teens on a two man tube and had myself and two other adults in the boat while doing so and it has enough power and speed for that. I have a 1980 Glastron Carlson CVX-18 project I want to work on which is why i need to lighten up my boat inventory. You won't be disappointed with this Glastron and these are extremely hard to find in this condition. Floor is solid, stringers are solid, when you look at engine and bilge area, it looks like the boat is only a few years old. The seats are also original and in great shape. If you are in the market for a classic fiberglass boat, this one is ready to enjoy. I also have the original Glastron white convertible roof available separately, these were optional equipment. The roof material is aged, so are the zip in side plastic window panels. There is at least $400 spent on the outdrive parts alone and I purchased all oem Mercruiser, no aftermarket! Trailer has new tires and new lights; wheel bearings have been inspected and serviced recently.
