If you park a Tyee 1950 next to the 1850 it will dwarf it. Not only is the boat over a foot longer but it is much wider, taller and deeper too. The 1950 was almost double the price of the 1850 brand new and at that price they just didn't sell that many. That is why there are so few 1950 tyee's produced. To replace this boat today will run you over $70,000. Since the cost of a new Lund boats have risen so sharply in the last several years, the really clean used Lund boats have risen with them. That is what we have here. This boat will last forever!
You will no longer have to be as careful picking your days on lake michigan, superior, erie or lake of the woods. It rides high and dry.
These 1950's handle deep water like the baron, and you could look for a long time before finding one this nice, this cheap. The wood floor and carpet are in very good condition, except for the carpet underneath the trolling motor. Since the cover does not cover this are the carpeting is in need of replacement.
The 100 HP Mercury, has equal compression in all cylinders right at the very top of factory spec, with only 100 hours. It pushes the boat with just me up to 38 mph. With 3 guys and all the gear 32 mph. It is in perfect mechanical condition.
The Mercury 9.9 4-stroke kicker has its own controls and steers off the main engine. Both motors can be tilted independently of each other.
Has a functional 55lb thrust 12V trolling motor. No electronics. The factory seats are in very good condition. There is not much dock rash. The $1100 cover is 2 years old, in excellent shape and you can drive 70mph down the hiway with it up. There are like new goodyear marathon tires with repacked bearings and working lights. I have 2 like new all aluminum big john down-riggers if you need them.
