Description

1997 Precision 18 sailboat, galvanized trailer, 4 HP Mercury 4 cycle (new 2000). Well-built Jim Taylor designed boat in excellent condition. Comfortable and stable daysailer for 4 with all halyards and sheets led to the cockpit. Shock keel with 350 pounds of ballast for shallow water sailing and easily handled centerboard for better pointing. Easily rigged, launched, retrieved and trailered with all-up weight of 2,000 pounds. Almost all sailing done in fresh water.
Bilged in 2015, West Marine (WM 4000) stereo in waterproof casing in 2013,: all new running rigging in 2012; maintenance-free AGM battery in 2012; cabin cushions in excellent condition: screens for 4 opening ports; cockpit cushions; boom vang; tiller extension; mainsail cover; tiller cover; mast head wind indicator; anchor; swim ladder; dock lines; bearing buddies on trailer; new trailer tires including spare in 2012; spare tire holder; new jacks on trailer tonge and aft in 2012.
