Dusky 256FC Center Console Fishing Boat Yamaha 250 Saltwater Series

This Dusky 256FC is a one-of- a-kind boat. We have owned and loved this boat for 16 years. During the 16 years, we have done many upgrades and appropriate maintenance. You would never know by looking at this boat that the hull is 1985. There are no soft spots or any issues at all. We have meticulously cared for this boat in the time we have owned it. We re-powered the motor with a 250 Yamaha in 2002, new wiring in 2016, new batteries 2016 and new trailer tires in 2016. In 2014, we had a new t-top custom-designed and installed. This t-top is slightly larger than you would see on an average boat. We wanted it to provide coverage for the entire center console. The center console was also custom-designed and installed. You will never find another center console like this one. We designed it ourselves and had it built and installed. The back side of the center console is insulated as a cooler to store large fish or use as your cooler for drinks and food. Currently, we just use as an extra storage area. In the design, we also included a large under seat storage area. The Dusky is truly known for its exceptional quality build and often referred to as "a tank". This design is unique in that it provides a large fishing platform, which could also be used for family boating with the cushions we had custom designed for the platform area.
We have got stuck in some nasty weather with this boat and it is a solid, sturdy and one of the most reliable brands out there. In addition, we have also placed cup holders all throughout the hull, a nice feature when boat is loaded down with friends and family. They advertise this boat as a 256FC but in fact it is closer to 28 feet for those having size constraints at your dock or any other storage.
The cuddy is small but large enough to comfortably sleep 2 people. We also had cushions made for the cuddy.
The boat has a 100 gallon gas tank and we have converted the additional 50 gallon gas tank into a freshwater wash down. Again, something you don't see too often on any boat-50 gallons of fresh water.
This boat will include the trailer. From my research this boat is 5500lbs loaded.
The only reason we are selling is we would like to get a smaller boat and we no longer go out deep sea fishing.
Electronics- There is an older GPS on the boat but you will need to consider replacing it. There is a newer stereo/cd player with multiple speakers throughout the entire boat including an amp. VHF radio not included. The motor is clean and no problems.
Please note in pictures- The Garmin on the right hand side is NOT included. This has been removed and starboard and replaced hole.
