2004 Precision Boat Works Precision 15 with Performance Trailer

I’m selling a great sailing Precision 15. We have had this boat for a number of years but just do not use it often. When we got it, we were missing a bunch of parts that the previous owner had lost. I bought a new boom, rudder, and tiller. I also made a new mainsail from a SailRite kit. We have used the boat maybe 5 times over the years and have always stored it indoors.

The rudder and tiller are from Rudder Craft and the hiking stick is also new. I replaced all of the running rigging since most of that was missing or just old looking. The mainsail has been rolled since new, and is probably the 8th sail I have made from new, this is the smallest one and was easy to handle compared to a main for my Hunter 31! The jib is original and has some spots from being stored. Amazingly the previous owner didn’t loose it. The jib is not the roller furling one, but it has worked fine the few times I have used it. I do have a solid wire forestay that is probably the part needed so you could remove all of the roller furler gear and just run a hank on jib if you prefer that. As you can see in the picture I'm using a synthetic line for the forestay so I could customize the length as needed.

As you can see in the pictures there is some damage to the rub rail from rubbing against the dock and may garage wall. Nothing major, but I pictured it just so you know.

The boat also includes the motor mount so you can install a small outboard if you want.

The trailer has great tires, they probably have less than 1000 miles on them. The trailer lights all work as they should.

I spaced the bunks up from the trailer because I thought the fenders would rub the hull. I guess that really wasn’t necessary, but that is why you can see the treated lumber between the trailer and the carpet covered bunks.

I have the some of the original documents that came with the boat but, you can get all of the manuals and such from the Performance website.
