57’ on deck Her Hull is thick Solid hand laid fiberglass her deck is built using oak beams, 1” mohagony plywood then a 1/4” of fiberglass. She is solid, built like a tank to be coast guard approved for 22 Sea Scout sailors. She was built just north of Detroit, MI at a no expense spared budget by a group of GM engineers and Nichols boat works then commissioned by the Defoe ship building company. She spent many happy years a Sea Scouts vessel and could be returned to service.
A Sail away long distance offshore sailboat in ready to go condition. Restored this boat over the last year and a half with Circumnavigation in mind, all work was professionally done and everything was purchased with quality, low mantanience in mind. She will Sail anywhere you like, would make a wonderful live aboard or charter vessel.
With Almost 1000 amp hours in the house battery bank and almost 1000w of solar power I have never had a power issue, you can run the navigation, autopilot, lights, refridgeration through the night with no issues recharging quickly with even a slight sun the next day. No need to start a generator or plug in ever. I charge laptops, devices, run the refridgeration and lights 24/7 with no issues ever.

Deck was stripped to fiberglass, barrier coated, Awlgrip deck and non skid 2016
Bottom was Soda Blasted, 6 coats of barrier coat with epoxy filling and fairing then 2 coats of Pettit Trinidad followed by 2 coats of Hydrocoat Pettit Prop-coat was applied to 3 blade fixed prop. 2016
