Description

This boat is the most versatileboat I have ever owned. Easy to get to the water--it just rolls on its side or on a 2 wheeler cart/dolly, easy to haul--just roll it into a luggage carrier-included, easy to maneuveron the water, lots of storage, customizable, light, very low draft only takes about 5 inches of water to float, durable, and economical. But here is the best part----you can stand up anytime you feel like it or sit anytime you want. NO MORE stuck sitting in a hot kayak to the point you can hardly get out of it. Not only was it great to fish from but it makes a great duck blind using pvc pipe you can customize almost anything on the boat!

THE ULTRASKIFFCHECK OUT THE WEB FOR AMAZING VIDEOS AND EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS BOAT.

The Ultraskiff 360 is the original, first and only patented user-friendly, portable design of a round boat. This small, lightweight, durable round watercraft is the perfect platform for fishing, hunting and pleasure boating. The Ultraskiff sets a new standard of safety, comfort, stability, versatility, transportability and fishability from a chair, casting stool or standing. We figured out a way to design a round skiff with an incline on the deck that positions your feet for optimum balance control and a lower, tighter center of gravity when sitting, standing up, leaning over, fighting a fish or getting in and out of the boat. The Ultraskiff 360 also has a patented detachable pedestal mount for easy access through the center hole for strapping during transport or securely locking it up outside. It is transportable by rolling the skiff like a wheel, sliding it on its side bumper or using a standard hand truck. You can fit up to 2 in a pickup truck bed or use luggage rack in any trailer hitch included . The Ultra skiff 360 is perfect for everyone from recreational boaters to serious anglers and hunters.
What is an Ultraskiff? The inventor was a kayak and pond boat fisherman who asked himself why? The answer was that kayaks and small boats were portable and low maintenance. You can launch them without a trailer, store them indoors or out and they do not come with the "boat ownership" responsibilities and costs. The goal was to take the experience and fishability you get when on the deck of a larger boat and combining that with elements that attract small boat owners. He was compelled to find out if there was a way to make a shorter plastic watercraft where you could sit higher on any modern day pedestal system, even a casting stool and feel stable and safe while positioned at a much higher vantage point, surrounded by features like large deep compartments, cleats and rod holders. Why is it a Round Boat?A round shape made sense because of a high, steady 360 degree vantage point when turning in your chair and the fact that rolling the boat like a wheel when moving it from spot to spot would be a unique feature in the marketplace. That was just the beginning, after prototyping there were many more game changing features that resulted in the US Patent and Trademark Office issuing a Patent on the invention. Why is this platform good for fishing?
The Ultraskiff is the Ultimate Fishing Platform. It has the features and accessories needed to "Experience Fishability™". Stability is enhanced with a patented gradient outer perimeter that slides pressure and weight towards the center of the round watercraft. The surrounding ergonomic surface gives your feet something to rest on and apply outward pressure against while sitting or standing by always ensuring your toes are at a higher elevation than your heels. It does not matter how high you sit or whether you have long or short legs, the gradient surface always gives your feet something to brace against the entire 360 degrees. --Ultraskiff 360 Hull and Pedestal MountHull Model # 360Pedestal Mount Model # PM1Price: M.S.R.P. $1,499.99

Dimensions:Diameter: 72" (6 ft)Height: 20"Hull Weight: 123 LbsDetachable Pedestal Mount Weight: 5 Lbs.
Features and Accessories:
3 Deep, Wide, Elevated Storage Compartments (the doors make great cutting boards when opened) Each door as 2 access slots that are used for feeding wires, anchor/dock lines and hoses into the compartments while the doors are closed. These access slots also help you feed cables and wires around the boat by feeding them through the slots so they keep the wires away from the deck. Every doors has a bungee latch that you can tighten and adjust anytime.
1 Battery Compartment large enough to hold up to Class 31 Deep Cycle Batteries
4 Large Cup Holder/Utility Pockets biggest enough to fit any phone.
4 - 5” Cleats with threaded inserts underneath, allowing you to take them out and replace them with external rod holders or fish finders.
4 - Bottom utility inserts hidden in recessed disks at all 4 corners of the hull bottom, allowing you to mount magnets, brackets and plates for transducers and pumps.
1 Molded Tow Ring that can be also used as an anchor push pin holder.
2 Deep mold-in handles underneath the flare for lifting, carrying and dollying the boat by hand.
8 strap guides, strategically positioned around the perimeter of the craft to enable different methods of securing the boat to roof racks and trailers. The deepest of the strap guides are on the front and rear of the hull, which is the ideal place for securing the boat a trailer with 2 ratchet straps. There is no need for any “specialized trailers” or “specialized dollies”. The exposed center hole and deep grooved strap guides lets you secure 2 of them to any small trailer, cargo carrier or pickup truck bed with ratchet straps. They can also be strapped to any vertical cargo carrier behind an RV.
6 Rod Holders, All equally spaced and perfect for creating custom duck blinds, tents, sun shades and anything else out of 1 1/4" PVC.
6 Skegs for tracking and Hull protection.
1 Bumper/Roll bar. It protects the side when rolling, sliding or impacting a dock or piling.
1 Strategically positioned flare on the bow that prevents water from splashing up while giving the boat the lift it needs to get through and over large swells.
1 Drainage canal that lets water drain around the ring of the pedestal mount and through the main tunnel access in the rear. You can feed hoses and wires through the main tunnel and into the pedestal mount or underneath the pedestal mount through the shock absorber hose. 2 Transom Plates that are stainless steel and removable.
2 Circle Magnets, one for deck installation and the other for Hull Installation.
Ultra skiff Patented Detachable Pedestal Mount: Product InformationThis is a molded detachable pedestal mount, it has a large hole its center and 18 -1/4" holes. The hole pattern pattern fits commercially sold removable 7" Square and 9" Round pedestal bases that have one of the two hole patterns seen below (ex. Springfield, Swivl-Eze).
Q: What does the Ultraskiff draft?A: The skiff has about 2300 total Lbs of external buoyancy. We have calculated that the draft is around 1 Inch per 100 Lbs that you add to the boat. I weigh 200 Lbs and the skiff drafts about 3 Inches of the draft when I have the boat loaded with motor, battery, gear and accessories. The skiff also has 460 Lbs of internal buoyancy (positive flotation) which means that if there was a Hull Breach and the internal cavity of the hull filled up with water, then you could still sit in your chair and safely operate the boat back to shore. Q: What is the weight capacity for the Ultraskiff?A: Although the Ultraskiff has a tough rotomolded hull we do not feel that any plastic boat that is sold on the market should sink if the hull is punctured and takes on water while in use. Which is why our max capacity is set to 460 Lbs. This number correlates with the buoyancy properties of the secondary internal cavities of the vessel (positive floatation). Preventing water from rising into the deck area from the drainage canal and subsequently filling the secondary cavities and sinking the vessel. The U.S.C.G. allows the manufacturer of boats rated 2HP or lower to set their own Max Capacity ratings, there is no test or requirement. Nor is their a requirement of vessels with a 2HP rating or lower to complete the U.S.C.G. Hull Breach test or to be inspected by the U.S.C.G. To go the extra step we filmed a mock of the hull breach test test, you can watch our full hull breach test video on our Instructional Video Page.
Q: I'm a big guy, how will the Ultraskiff handle me?
A: There is a video of a 375 pound gentlemen trying out the Ultraskiff for the first time at the 2016 Tampa Florida Sportsman Expo. He also shared his honest opinion of how stable he felt and what this experience is like for someone of his size. This Demo and review is unpaid and unscripted.
Q: How much does the boat cost?A: It has a an M.S.R.P. of $1,499.00 for Just the boat by itself. This boat is rotation-ally molded as one solid piece which ensures over-all strength and longevity. We don't rivet any accessories on the boat that rust away. The accessories are are all attached using mold in threaded inserts to ensure longevity and customization. We use 33 mold in threaded inserts that allow you to remove, customize and replace everything attached to the boat. We don't have 4 rod holders, we have 6 that are actually molded as part of the Hull. This boat is American Made with excellent build quality and workmanship.
Q: What comes with the boat?A: The Ultraskiff comes fully assembled with the Hull, Cleats, Hinges, doors, latches, transom covers and detachable pedestal mount. It also comes with a set of Magnet Mounts. The boat also comes with a Title (MCO), instruction manual and the SS hardware for attaching a pedestal base to your pedestal mount.
Q: How do I know if this boat is right for me?A: Normally, there are enough videos and information on this web to make that assertion as to whether our round boat is the right choice for you. Its only a 6 foot long displacement type hull so top speed is limited to about 5 MPH/2 HP which is 80 Lbs of thrust. So as long as speed is not an issue this little boat is a great option. She is built for comfort, not speed.

Q: How much does the boat weigh?A: Right now the assembled boat hull weighs 123 lbs.
Q: How easy is it to move, launch and transport the Ultraskiff 360 by hand? A: The Ultraskiff 360 weighs 123 lbs. It has 2 handles for lifting and handling underneath the bow. My favorite way to move the boat is by rolling it on its side, it takes a little while to master it but when you do you end up rolling it everywhere. Another good method is sliding the boat on it's side, if you have a surface that is not course then you can easily slide the boat around. It slides well because the only parts that touch the ground are the edge of the roll bar and the edge of the rounded gunwales, so there is minimum resistance. A common hand truck is another great way to move the boat on land and launch from shorelines and beaches.
Q: How easy is it to move, launch and transport the Ultraskiff 360 by vehicle? The back of any pick-up truck bed is the perfect method. Even with a short bed you can strap them down horizontally or vertically. The center hold makes securing them with just one ratchet strap a reality. For vertical transporting 2 straps are recommended.
Q: How is the Ultraskiff 360 in rough conditions and passing wake from large boats? A: The Ultraskiff 360 can handle wake from passing boats very well.
Q: Can I use a gas powered motor?A: Yes you can but it is coast-guard rated for 2.0 hp or lower. I made sure I designed a 17" transom so you can use a short shaft outboard but a gas motor is very jerky and the torque from the gas motor turns/spins at a high rate of speed. Unfortunately, the craft is just too short and wide to be a planning hull, it navigates like a barge therefore your top speed is limited to about 4 mph. The only time you can efficiently convert your power into speed is when you have an even waterline from bow to stern. With a trolling motor the skiff always moves smooth and at an even water line. A standard deep cycle battery powered transom mounted trolling motor is the best and safest choice for the Ultraskiff 360 in our opinion.

Q: Do I need a life preserver when using the Ultraskiff 360?A: You need whatever your state and coast guard regulations require.
Q: How does the boat track and steer?A: Round Boats can be sensitive to steer at first but a little practice goes a long way. Check out our Steering Video on the Instructional Video Page . If you look at the bottom of the boat you will see that it is only a round boat on top, the bottom half of the hull has a large pointed prow like other boats. This prow and the skegs underneath is what gives you tracking.
Q: Can I paddle an Ultraskiff 360?A: Yes, if something happens you can paddle by kneeling on the front of the round boat as demonstrated in the main video. A collapsible emergency paddle should be kept in one of the compartments when you are boating alone in case something happens to your motor. It also has a rod holder on each side of the chair, and if outfitted correctly could be used as oar locks. The bottom of the Ultraskiff is still a boat with a large pointed prow so paddling is better than you would think in a round boat.
Q: What is the best way to launch the skiff from a natural shoreline or beach?A: The best method is to roll it or use a hand truck and hold the round skiff with the handles underneath the prow. Push the skiff on the hand-truck right into the water or close to it, then drop the skiff to the ground or water and let it slide off the hand-truck and right into the water. You can also roll the boat on it's side as long as you guide it and give it momentum.
Q: Can I use one of the storage compartments as a cooler?A: Yes, you can fill it with ice and stock it with drinks or fish. But I strongly recommend using a Cooler Bag. These are inexpensive items that will preserve your ice much longer and make clean up afterwards much easier. Also, there is no automatic drainage inside the compartments, so a cooler bag will allow you to empty the water at will.
Q: What is the recommended seat pedestal height for this product?A: In general the 13" post is fine for everyone. But if you want to get technical with having perfect posture then for 5'8 and under I recommend the 11" post. For anyone over 5'9 I recommend a 13"+ sized pedestal for taller persons.
Q: What is the best way to move the boat on land by hand?A: The best method is using a common hand truck or rolling or sliding it like I do in the videos. The boat rolls on its side better than I thought it would, but still is not 100% perfect.
Q: Can I install a fish-finder or depth finder on an Ultraskiff 360?A: Yes, you can detach the cleats which will leave two machine screw inserts that are about 1 3/8" apart. If the Fish Finder Screen Mount doesn’t match these holes then I just use one screw and it works fine. The sonar/transponder can be attached to the front tow ring, to your trolling motor, attached to the transom or fed through the drainage channel and center hole of the boat.
Q: How is the Ultraskiff 360 Manufactured?A: This boat is rotation-ally molded as 1 solid piece, no glued or riveted seams. The attachments and accessories are screwed into brass and stainless steel mold-in inserts.Q: Does the boat come with a Title?A: Yes, The boat comes with an M.C.O. and an H.I.N #.
Q: What if I need to register my Ultraskiff 360 in my state?A: Typically, all motorized watercraft have to be titled and registered in their state of use. It is recommended you use your title to properly register your Ultraskiff 360 if you’re using the boat in public waters. Many states do not require a boat to be registered if you’re using it on a private lake or pond. Polyethylene plastic is a "Low energy" plastic and it makes it difficult to paint over it and attach adhesive stickers to it although our customers just stick them right onto the hull without a problem so go figure. A Low Energy Vinyl wrap or sticker is a great choice to apply to the hull then add stickers. Or you could spray the area with 3M high strength adhesive spray #76 or #90. Another good adhesive for polyethylene plastic is the 3M Scotch Weld High performance industrial plastic adhesive 4693H. If you want to permanently stencil your numbers onto the boat you could use a permanent black marker. But be aware that it makes it difficult to impossible to ever remove the traces of these numbers from the hull. If you stencil your numbers onto the hull you still will still need to apply your registration sticker.
Ultraskiff R.B.C. [Rotational Stabilizers]Wind Tracking and Static Positioning AccessoryPrice: $100 This is the latest Patent Pending Invention and the next step in helping people Experience Ultimate Fishability in a small lightweight watercraft. These lightweight and durable instruments attach to the side rod holders and hang over side of the boat. Ambient drift is your watercraft's tendency to change its direction on its own. That is the reason we invented the Ultraskiff 360, so that if your watercraft began to drift or turn on its own, you could easily just shuffle your feet and stay aligned with your target. These light. easy to handle accessories when attached to the side rod holders help to stabilize the ambient drift of the watercraft. They have many benefits such as:
1. Helps the boat track at slow speeds in the wind.2. Helps you achieve static positioning in the wind. 2. Improves hook set power when not anchored. 3. De-sensitizes the steering4. Fully and easily retractable and mountable on the gunwales.5. Break Down in half for easy storage. 6. Foam filled so they float if you accidentally drop one in the water. 7. Sleek polished black color.

FAQQ: Will not anchoring all day wear your battery down?
A: Its surprising how little the amperage draw is when your using the motor at 60% thrust and below. I usually get over 4 - 8 hours of fishing in on a single battery using them depending on the wind speed.
Q: Are these necessary to fish from the boat?
A: The boat is fine this is just a cool improvement if you use artificials and want to fish in the wind without anchoring.
Q: How much do they weigh?
A: 2 Lbs each
Q: Will they work in really strong wind?A: Work yes, but over 16 MPH is going to require over 60% of thrust to keep a static and will probably wear your battery down more then usual.
Q: Will they work in Saltwater?
A: It will help slow tracking in the wind but if the current is strong it can have an effect on there abilities to keep a static. So they are not at 100% effective when the current is moving in a different direction then the wind.
Q: Do they limit how shallow you can go?
A: No, they hang below the waterline less then a foot which is higher then your propeller, so there are no limitations here really.
Q: Do they hand up in Lily Pads?
A: In the really dense pads you may want to bring them up. Generally though in the normal density of pads I go into and through Pads just fine with these, you'll get the occasional floater that tags along for a ride.
Q: Limitations?
A: Yes, one limitation is that they will not hold up against the pull of a 10'+ Deep Diver Crankbait. Using a lure with this much resistance will begin to through your course off. There are ways around it such as controlling the direction of the boat with the angle of your rod tip or retrieving in the direction of your course.
