The Topper ARGO includes sail tech and stability for the young and young at heart interested in sailing fast! Built from polyethylene TRILAM layered construction, the ARGO’s hull doesn’t require waxing and avoids problems with crazing and delamination found among older fiberglass boats. Just spray, rinse and the ARGO is ready for another day on the water!

The Topper ARGO safety features include a jiffy (quick reefing) system, boom located above crew/passengers head reducing risk from accidental gybes common with other dinghies, and optional mast head floats.

The ARGO can be sailed by four and raced by two. The ARGO is a blast to sail and can ‘plane’ in winds over 10 knots. The performance, forgiving stability, power and responsive handling impresses often experienced sailors, grows the confidence of less experienced sailors; while the load capacity and versatility is attractive to sailing schools and families alike.

The ARGO’s countered side decks, high freeboard, hard chimes, deep spacious cockpit, flat wide transom, roller reefing jib, and simple reefing systems makes this an ideal training and racing dinghy.

Due to its wide flat/wide aft transom, the ARGO does not roll while stepping aboard, unlike most other dinghies; a definite positive for those new to sailing/racing.
