This is an incredible FULLY restored 1960 Span America Skiette 16' Classic Boat. It has a fully restored 1978 Johnson 70hp Outboard motor that provides well enough power to move along at a nice cruising speed on the lake. This fiberglass boat was meticulously restored from the hull and transom. A few of the highlights of the restoration: repairs where required, new paint was applied using high quality Petit Marine Paint Products, a new SeaStar Solutions NFB Steering system was installed, new electrical system with all components fused, new SmartBox Marine Battery Box with new Napa Marine Deep Cycle Battery, and new custom made cushions. Prior to the restoration the boat had spent many years inside making it the perfect boat for restoration.
The 1978 Johnson 70hp Outboard was rebuilt and restored and purchased from one of Minnesota's most respected Outboard Motor Restoration specialists. It comes with two NEW OMC 6 gallon fuel tanks. The motor also has a new OMC propeller. The trailer was also restored with new paint, new wiring, submersible lights, new tires and wheels, new bearing hub assemblies, and rollers where required. New CE Smith Bunk Guides were installed so getting back on the trailer is as hassle free as possible.
