1956 42' Rybovich Dayboat (Hull #22) - No Reserve!

Description

Very rare (only 2 left in existence), Rybovich Hull #22 is a day-boat with no fixed bulkhead, so salon can be opened to the outside cockpit, providing a great atmosphere when enjoying the boat with friends. Still has many of its original features from when built, so her classic character shows through.

I am selling this boat at no reserve (listing will run the entire scheduled length and won't be pulled early) because I own 3 Ryboviches (all for sale) and I want to see this boat go to someone that will love her as much as we have, and that is willing to take care of the items that will take the boat from good to great.

The boat is good and solid (hull, decks, etc.), but the items that will need attention sooner rather than later are:
1. The windows - the window glass in the salon is very old and needs to be replaced.
2. Woodwork - the window sill on the aft port side is soft and needs to be replaced. Same thing with the window sill on the forward starboard side. The wood on the house side under the port tower leg is rotted (near the glass area, so both could be taken care of at one time).

3. Toe rail - the mahogany toe rail is original and needs to be replaced.
4. Electronics do not work.
5. Refrigeration (fridge, freezer & icebox) - all the freezer boxes, coils, etc. are fine, but the condensers are original and new ones are needed.
6. A/C - the original Cruisair units need to be upgraded.
7. Engines - the engines run great at idle speed, but should be repowered.
Again, this is a great boat, and a worthy investment (the items listed above are my honest assessment of what the boat needs). I've restored several Ryboviches in the past 25 years, and am happy to assist with any questions or any portion of the restoration that you may want help with.
The boat is currently located in Palm Beach Gardens, and is available for inspections by appointment. She's being sold "as-is, where-is", with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping, but I am happy to help with coordination.
