BOBCAT TUNNEL HULL CATAMARAN

Description

The Bobcat is an exciting single seat tunnel hull catamaran, the marine equivalent of a track day racer. It is a great boat for having fun on the water at reasonable cost. She would make a special and unusual addition to the fun boats carried in the garage of a super yacht.

The craft is of fibre reinforced construction and was built in the U.S.A. and then rigged and outfitted by Cougartek in Malaysia.

A 30hp Mercury outboard is fitted and speeds of 70kph/45mph are achievable.

The hull form is very forgiving and there are no tendencies of excessive lift causing instability.

For safety flotation bags are fitted to the sponsons and the seat molding is filled with flotation foam.

For anyone wishing to race the Bobcat meets American Powerboat Association and UIM rules.
