1974 Ranger Bass boat (project)

Description

1974 Ranger Bassboat. This is one of the 29 boats that was used in the 1974 Bassmaster's classic. This boat was in storage for many years. Please read carefully the description. When I got the boat there was no batteries in it. The wires are present in rear box. I have not tried to start motor. I squirted oil in each cylinder and let it set for about a week with the motor in raised position. I then disconnected coils and turn engine over. Appears to have very good compression. Again, someone with the knowledge to hook everything up, I am confident that the motor will be fine. There is no prop or batteries. I have used batteries out of my boat to check the things I know how to check. The trolling motor works as does the bilge and aerator. I think some where the ground needs to be cleaned. The pt&t just clicks. again I think is ground. Look closely at pics and you will see condition of boat. Go on line and type in 1974 Bassmaster's classic and you will see a video with Bill Dance and you will see this boat. I am 69 years old and my eyes will not let me do the things that need to be done. I have a service manual with wiring diagram also a parts manual for the outboard. This is truly a piece of fishing history. I don't know if ebay will let me put my phone number 812-306-7129 with questions. Also the lights on trailer are present, but do not work at this time. I got the title to the boat straightened out (which was a nightmare) the trailer title can be changed to you with power of attorney which I have. I am listing this with no reserve. I will answer all questions to the best of my ability. The 29 contestants were flown in and one of these boats were assigned to them for the tournament, all boats were supplied by Ranger for the tournament. This could very easily be a show piece or made into museum quality. Trailer is very much road worthy.
