1992 JET STAR Project Boat with Running Mercury Sport Jet 90

Description

This is an unfinished project. If you can repair or replace the jet drive, you will have a great little jet boat with a good hull and running engine.

• Note: The trailer shown is not included but may be purchased with the boat for $450. It is a galvanized Karavan trailer in excellent condition. It is set up for a Force 5 sailboat, but will be good for this boat with some changes to the bunk in the rear. I have more photos of the trailer and more info if you would like.

This boat includes a RUNNING UltraNautics 90 HP 3 cyl. engine! The engine has good compression and has a new Stator, new spark plugs, new switch box and new trigger. The fuel tank was cleaned and a new sender unit was installed and also new fuel line and fuel filter. Carbs were cleaned and gaskets replaced. New Mercury engine service manual included. Boat is titled as a 1992, but may be a 1993 because it has the 3 cylinder 90 HP engine.The boat has new carpet, new stern light socket and new foil insulation in engine compartment. Navigation lights, horn and bilge pump all work. Also has a new ignition switch. The bilge vent blower is new. Radio was removed and speakers will need to be replaced. Upholstery was removed, but I have the original foam which is good and could be recovered. Have clear Virginia title.Boat hull is good with no cracks or leaks. I removed most of the decals and patched a few scrapes. After getting the boat fixed up and the engine running, I could not get the jet drive unit off to work on it. Local mechanic is not able to service it. This boat and motor is being offered at a price below the value of the motor alone!
