Wellcraft '87 25'

Description

1987 Wellcraft with 2004 - 200 HP Mercury outboard.
This has been a great fishing boat. Holds 200 gal. of gas. I've been able to go almost anywhere I wanted and not worry about running low on fuel. Two of us even did an over night. Not the most comfortable but had fun anyway. Seperate head compartment with porta-poti. Runs great and provides a dry ride because of the bow flare.
Has a complete enclosure if you like fishing when the temps start to drop. I usually didn't haul out until mid-December because of the enclosure. There are two swivel thick padded fighting chairs that go on the pedestals. These are the complete padded chairs, not the one's with the removable pads. The seats in the helm area are the removable pad type. Between the pedestal there is a removable hatch that covers the fuel tank. That cover has cracks and flexes. The cover is held in place by screws. I lifted the cover and only the fuel tank is under. Never bothered me or anything in the boat so I never replaced it. Has Lawrence Chart Plotter/Sounder I purchased in 2016 also.
Trailer is an Easy Loader. I've replaced most of the rollers. The brakes are not operational. Only towed it around 150 miles per year. One trip home and one trip back to the marina on the highway with my truck, so the brakes weren't an issue. Has an electirc winch in the picture, may or may not work. Do not have the power connector. As I said this is a fishing boat. If your looking for good gel-coat and shinny appearance then this is not your boat. If your looking for a reliable boat that gets you there and back, dry and comfortablethen take a look. Engine was always winterized by local yard. Replaced water pump at haul out of2016. Bought a larger boat in 2017 and didn't get a chance to use this one in 2017. So it's time for someone else to enjoy.
