Located in Newport Beach, California.If I don't sell this boat in the next week for what I consider to be an amazing price then my wife and I will be sailing it down to San Diego and we will keep it forever. This boat is completely ready to go. In the last few weeks we have sailed it back and forth from Catalina Island and a number of other places. We have loved every second on this boat. We saw hundreds of dolphins and several humpback whales. This boat performed flawlessly whether motoring or sailing and was very comfortable on anchor. We have been cruising around Southern California for a month and it is time to go home for us so take over where we left off! You have to see the interior to believe it. This boat has lived in a yacht club its whole life.
This sailboat is designed for California coastal cruising. It has an encapsulated lead keel that was formed onto the boat during the manufacturing process. No keel bolts to worry about! The hatch above the companionway pops up and opens up the cabin to the cool open breeze. The foredeck is wide open and flat and held two big kayaks comfortably even during large waves on our trips to Catalina. The outboard Motor mounting location is ingenious and functions almost like an outboard well and keeps your prop in the water even out on the big ocean. This is a great boat for anybody who wants to get out and sail.
9.9 hp Tohatsu outboard really moves this boat right along.
