1959 Alumacraft V hull flats boat

Description

Offering a 14’Alumacraft V hull with a 25 hp two stroke Johnson outboard motor. Theall-aluminum hull was constructed in 1959. Most of the fasteners are throughhull rivets, 99 percent of them are still in place! This hull was meant to lasta lifetime. I purchased the hull from a friend of mine in the Valley of Texas.He resided in Tennessee for years and used the boat for bass fishing. He movedback in 2017. I acquired the hull in 2018, stripped it down to bare metal,sealed it with a product guaranteed to hold the natural shine for 10 years andadded a fiberglass casting deck/fiberglass transom. I also added an originalsimplex throttle/gearcase controller, stainless steel cabled steering wheelassembly, LED running light on the bow and bilge pump. All of theflooring/gunwales are covered in non-skid urethane. The boat turns like aPorsche 911. I hold Texas title to theAlumacraft hull.

The 1994 25 hpJohnson outboard two stroke motor was purchased from a retired man in 2019. Hestated the motor was purchased new from a dealer in Houston and was run twotimes the same year. After that, he drained the motor and never started itagain. I took the motor to a certified marine outboard mechanic in Harlingenfor service and have run 24 gallons of premix through it over the course oflast year. Basically the motor has less than 30 hours on her. I hold Texastitle to the outboard motor. The motor is pull start and does not have astarter/jack plate attached.

Included is an 18’fully galvanized boat trailer with water proof LED tail lights that fits theboat like it was custom made. The trailer was built and purchased in 2018. Ihold Texas title and current registration on the trailer.

I am also offering acompletely rebuilt 1998 Evinrude 50 hp two stroke, complete with ignition andfull trim/tilt if a larger displacement is desired. Please call to discuss ifinterested.
