Baja
Description
Baja 1999 H2X 25' with trailerThis is a boat I bought at an impound auction last month and I started working on it but plans have changed and I need to sell it. I do have a clear title for both the boat and trailer.Engine is 330HP Big Block Chevy fuel injected with a Bravo outdrive. Outdrive has a new looking ujoints and I contacted the old owner and he claimed it was a rebuilt outdrive and it does look like it. I dont have the prop....No Prop is included! The first few pics are from the day I bought it. Since then I have installed 2 brand new Dexter torsion axles and 4 new wheels/tires on the trailer with zero miles which was $1200 alone. Since taking the first few pics I have also removed the engine cover as the upholstery was torn and I was going to get it redone. I started the engine and it ran good, no smoke or knocks when I bought it but I didnt let it run long as I didnt have it hooked up to water yet. The next weekend I put a flush hose on it and found out that the exhaust manifolds were leaking so I pulled the engine to start a freshen up of what was there or maybe build a higher horsepower motor depending how it went. The Stainless Marine High Performance exhaust manifolds were rotted out and no good. One of them on the starboard side I had to destroy to get it off the head . I still have them and they are included but exhaust manifolds are no good. Stainless Marine in Miami sells them for $900 each but I was considering just going back to stock Mercruiser which is alot less at about $600 for the pair if I didnt soup the engine up. As I started working on the boat I found this project snowballing and Im running out of funds and time....actually more time than funds. As far as the engine that was in it I planned on dissasembling and taking the engine down to the shortblock and was going to regasket it, put a bigger cam in it and have the heads redone but that did not happen yet. At minimum this engine should be regasketed so if you buy this boat plan on doing the same. Engine is still all together and sitting on a pallet. Right now the project is stalled and the engine is still all intact as it was pulled. I really dont have the time to complete it now that its this far apart. New parts I have that go with it....a brand new boat cover still in the box never used that goes with it, a new bilge blower fan kit and ducting, new engine oil dipstick with tube...all this was about $300Interior of the boat isnt that bad...both front seats are ripped but are still very usable. The engine hatch material is torn and needs to be recovered..was quoted $400-800 at a few different shops. There are a few other minor interior fixes that need to be done like the grab handles replaced and a few misc trim items. This is a project boat so expect to have things to repair and fix along the way. Its not really that bad and a great boat if someone had some time to tinker with it.Please remember this is a project boat and is not running at this time. Batteries in pictures are not included.Florida title is clear and has no leins or issues. I do have ignition key too.Boat is able to be seen in Clearwater Fl 33765 by appt. Just call me 727-386-9009. Please call back if I dont answer.I am open to offers but not desperate
