Details, Condition, and History The boat listed here is a 1998 Baja 24 foot Sport 226. Purchased in Georgia from the previous owner in 2008. Both the boat and the trailer have been used in both fresh and salt water. Found out today that one of the supports cracked on the trailer. I can no longer keep up with the repairs while storing the boat outside in a back lot with the weather beating down, so this is is the end of the road for me. As shown in the pictures, the exterior of the boat is in good condition with very little paint fading and a small bump from a dock accident on the right-side bumper. The boat lost its windshield due to the weight from a puddle. The rear hatch covering the engine bay rotted and the replacement has yet to be upholstered. The interior will need work since there is deck rot on the port side of the ship's floor where the passenger captain's seat would be - it will need to be resurfaced. Both captain's seats were removed but will be available to the buyer to pickup from my storage. All the gauges were replaced two years ago along with all the wiring to the engine bay. New steering wheel and shifter were installed about three years ago along with two new batteries (one marine the other deep cycle). The OMC King Cobra 460 engine has been generally problem free over the last six years except for having to clean out the exhaust manifolds. The stern drive also is operational, but will at a minimum need the gimbal bearing replaced as evidenced by a noise coming when the boat is in drive. As shown in the pictures, the painted steel trailer is rusting out and will probably need to be replaced. Payment and Pickup Buyer will need to pay with either cash, a cashier's check, or Paypal. Pickup and transfer of the boat will be done in Fort Lauderdale.
