Up for sale 1987 Baja Force 200 in very nice condition.

• 5.7 350ci 260hp Mercruiser engine and Alpha One outdrive

New:

• Impeller and gear lube
• Fuel separator and carb filter

• Just removed the bow rail and teak in order to compound and wax. Cleaned and oiled the teak and put everything back together.
• Boat leveler trim tabs make this boat ride great in choppy water
• Lots of storage
• Includes life jackets, lines, fenders, anchor, air horn and type 4 throwable PFD
• Includes full boat cover, Bimini top with glass and cockpit cover. All three covers could use a good cleaning.
• Dual axle eagle trailer included
• Just took it out for a ride on 11/20 and it ran fine, went from Cape Coral Yacht Club to Fort Myers Beach to downtown Fort Myers and back to the Yacht Club (50 miles?)

As you might expect with a boat of this age there are a few things that do not work. If this is a problem then a boat from 1987 is probably not for you.
The trim gauge and clock do not work. I've seen very few boats where the trim gauge actually does work, but I'm trying to be as accurate as possible.
The blower does not work. I will try to fix it before it's sold if I don't I will give the buyer a credit for the price of a new 3" blower motor.
This is a 1987 boat it is not perfect but it is one of the cleanest you will ever find for the year. The people at the marina where I bought it said that it had less than 100 hours on it. In my estimation it's probably more like 300 but there is no hour meter. The interior is in great condition as is the hull. The cabin interior has a few minor rust looking stains, not a big deal I'm just trying to be as accurate as possible in my description. Read my feedback and bid with confidence.

I was just looking through some of the items that are included with the boat and found some things of interest. I would post pictures but eBay will not allow it at this time. I found what I believe to be the original set of owners manuals from Mercruiser as well as the mercruiser warranty card and original registration stickers from 1987-1989. It is unusual to have all of these things preserved with any boat much less one of this vintage. The story that I was told when I bought it was that the boat was owned by one family that bought it new in Kentucky. It was supposedly stored in a heated garage and never left in the water overnight. I cannot confirm this but it would help to explain the overall good condition. Also the bimini top and cockpit cover that are included appear to be Baja factory originals. The material is still soft (although a bit dirty) and should be usable. I have not tried to use either the bimini or the cockpit cover. The bimini has Eisen-glass type plastic panels that look to be in pretty darn good shape as well. If you are a serious buyer that is willing to pay a fair price for this boat (not the guy who bid $47) I will gladly send additional pictures upon request. In the past week I have put around 100 miles and 5 hours on it and it ran good. It great on gas too. Thanks for looking! -Jim
