Boat is being relisted due to buyer not having approved funds available.

2005 Checkmate ZT260 in exceptional condition with 291 scanned hours with a 496 HO Mercruiser engine. Brand new lower unit in 2018.

Boat was cosmetically reconditioned in 2017 with new $4000 Sony head unit with JL Audio speakers and 10" subwoofers and amp, a new 2018 Venture trailer ($3200), reupholstered engine cover (because I didn't like the wild design) and was recently wrapped ($3800). I had no plans to sell this boat, hence the recent upgrades, but it's time to go bigger for longer trips on the bay.

Boat is carefully maintained at Bay Performance in North East, MD and fluids are changed every 30 hours. This is one of the cleanest Checkmates you'll find, which took me over a year to find. Boat is available for sea trial, surveys, whatever I can do to assist.

Checkmate is still in the business of making fast performance boats and the currentowner is the former owner of Baja. His goal was to make a performance boat with a stronger hull and a quicker plane, hence the lighter weight of the Checkmates. Their Customer Service is second to none. Give them the hull ID number and they'll tell you everything about the boat and its production.

Boat is for sale locally and is being offered as is. Boat runs AMAZING and everything works as it should. Have hit 70 on GPS.
