1991 Baja 290
Description
1991 290 Baja Sport Boat twin 7.4L Mercruiser Bravo 1 (project boat / repower)
Tri Axle Eagle Trailer is included.
Please read carefully. I've tried my best to include everything.
This boat is a running, driving, useable, trailerable boat. If you're planning on updating the boat, the hull & transom are solid. Should you be needing it for a repower, it would be perfect for that as well.
The green on the hull sides is a wrap. The original graphics are still there.
This is a freshwater boat. There are no signs of salt or corrosion on the power plants, electrical systems, etc.
The tri-axle Eagle trailer is in nice condition. 4x4 bunks with fresh carpet. 2 5/16" coupler. Aluminum wheels. Assume the surge brakes need serviced. I haven't checked them. No rust or corrosion on trailer as well.
Engine condition - Both engines start and run. Sound very good. Approx. 12 hours running time have been put on them in the past couple of weeks. You are welcome to run engines off of a hose and check however you like upon delivery. ENGINE HOURS SHOW 480 STBD, 276 PORT.
No signs of freeze cracks or repair.
Outdrives - both are corrosion free and shift properly. Stainless props are included. Both trim pumps sound good. (Counter rotating drives)
Transom assemblies - steering pins/gimbal rings are worn. The starboard engine will need an inner shift cable. Plan on replacing shift cable boots and bellows.
Here Are The Following Things To Point Out:
Bolster seats are solid, but upholstery needs work.
Motor hatch/Cockpit bench Seat Needs repair.
Engine hatch lift works, but motor is slow.
The KIEKHAEFER trim tabs are missing. The mounting plates are there.
Cabin Area is in pretty good shape. No heavy mildew or dampness.
ELECTRONICS:
Bilge Pump, Blower, Navigation Lights, Gauges (trim gauges/senders in-op), Stereo, Are In Good Working Order.
Fridge Works Good
Following Items Are included:
Shorepower, Transom Stereo Remote, Transom Wash Down, Pop Up Cleats, Halon System, CO detector, Cockpit Cover, 2 Dual Battery Switches.
