We're selling our 1987 Bayliner Capri 1900. This would be a great winter project for someone with a little bit of time. We bought this boat a little over a year ago, with the plan to fix it up. The outside is in great condition, but the inside needed to be refinished. We've bought all of the supplies that you'll need to finish this, but we just don't have the time to do it. This has been stored in our garage since we bought it.
It has a 1987 Force 125 HP engine, so plenty fast enough for skiing or tubing. We haven't started the engine, but were told by the previous owners that it ran good. It does have adjustable trim too. The trailer is also included. There is also a new outboard motor support for the trailer.
We took out the rotten flooring in the boat and did put all new flooring in. We also purchased all new vinyl for it, directly from the company that has all of Bayliner's original patterns. We have some of the seats refinished (third picture), but not all of them. All of the glass/windows are in excellent condition.
Here are the supplies that you will get to finish the boat - you really shouldn't need to buy much more:
- New Marine-grade carpeting in dark gray, and the adhesive to glue it down.
- New Vinyl to recreate the original look of the interior. The seats are already cut and sewn to the exact measurements, they just need to be stapled on. Then there are also several other large pieces of vinyl in all colors to finish the sideboards.
- Marine-grade staples.
- Extra dashboard and gauges.
- New AM/FM/CD Bluetooth radio.
Price is $2,500 OBO.
You must pick up at our house.
