1960 13' Boston Whaler Hull # 1006

Description

This 13' Boston Whaler was built in 1960 with Hull #1006. It's one of the original Boston Whalers and has not been modified or damaged. I have taken good care of it for the last 50 years that I've owned it.
I bought the boat in 1970 when I lived in the Florida Keys. Because of the shallow draft and light weight I could explore the mangroves and backwaters of the Florida Everglades. It was an excellent boat for exploring, fishing, snorkeling and lobstering in the bay waters of the Florida Keys and the Atlantic Ocean side of the Keys. When the children came along it was great for fishing and exploring. As they got older they water skied behind it. I once towed a 32' sail boat over 90 miles from the Keys to a dock in Miami. It's a good boat. When the boys left home I stored it inside for 25 years from 1992 to 2017. I repainted it and used it around the middle of Florida, again exploring the rivers.
As I said, I've owned it for 50 years, took care of it and enjoyed it very much. Now it is time to pass one of the original Boston Whalers onto another person who will take care of it and enjoy it. Thanks for looking.
