1999 Carver Voyager 45 Pilothouse
1999 Carver Boats Voyager
Description
This is a very clean, well maintained, beautiful Voyager with only 299 hours (practically new engines because we just don't have time to enjoy her). We used our boat 3 times this year, and probably only 6 times last year...........so, the best boat that I have ever owned needs a new home.
We are the second owner, we bought it 6 years ago and the professional surveyor valued the boat at $265,000 in "EXCELLENT CONDITION" and we have only made her better with lots of upgrades.
It's basically an amazing 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo on the water (even has a washer/dryer). Way to many details to list; but I will mention some of the upgrades and repairs that we have made in the past 6 seasons.
Boat comes with the 2005 11' Avon Tender shown in the picture with a 15 HP outboard (very fast tender).
The electronics are a little over the top / very impressive, 4 GPS units and Color Radar are tied together with Sea-Talk to the Auto-Pilot. Set your course and the boat does the rest. Satalite TV or Antenna (we added the antenna to capture free TV).
Bow and Stern thrusters makes docking very easy. The thrusters can be activate from the lower and upper helm OR by hand-held remote control!
Control both engines with the electronic syncing 2 handle throttle system. I was used to a 4 handle system on previous boats (a set for the the gears and a set for the speed).....but this simple system is so much better!
We have:Added Plas-Deck Teak floor in the cockpit and on the swim platform ($5,000 upgrade)5 Brand new batteries with all new terminal connectors ($1,500 upgrade this season)New bridge helm canvas cover and bow sun pad cover ($1,500 upgrade this season)New stereo and speakers on the bridge with a second control pad on the lower levelNew cover for the Avon tenderNew flat screen TV in the living room and forward berthNew fridge in the galleyOversized bow anchor (a must for a good night sleep)New bow anchor windless motorChanged exterior lights to blue LED (very cool looking at night)
Recently filled the 550 gallon capacity fuel tank(s)
We really took great care of our pride and joy......polished / buffed / waxed 2 times per year, kept the chrome, glass, interior and exterior surfaces in excellent condition. We don't let anyone on-board with shoes on (just an example of how particular we are about Boy-N-Sea). These pictures were just taken, it's the very end of our season in Maryland, so this is what she looks like dirty.
Please let me know if you have questions or would like to see her.
