2005 Challenger Twin Yamaha 250HPDI Center Console Boat
2005 Challenger 33
Description
I have owned this boat since 2009. I bought it with 100 hours and have only put 80 hours on it in 9 years. I have used it in 100% freshwater. It has been a good boat but a year ago I had problems with the Port Motor and after doing just about everything they though it was fixed and then proceeded to score a piston. Because the other one ran so good and I had already replaced tons of parts I opted to put a new block and rebuild the engine. I have almost $10,000 in the Port engine now and and I have all receipts. We did all the gear oil also. The boat is a good solid boat. I recently pulled it out of the boathouse and I need to get it fully detailed and then other than a few upgrades and modernization's it will make for a good mid sized boat for years to come. The stereo all works well and sounds good. The chartplotter/fishfinder I don't think works anymore. I replaced the interior lights with LED's a few years ago. Batteries are less than 2 years old. There are 180 hours on the boat and 20 hours on 1 engine and 182 on the other one. I have never used the toilet or the sink so honestly those pumps probably need to be replaced. This is by no means a project boat but will need someone to spend a little time on the interior and a few areas on the interior paint. A light here and there and just some overall TLC. Only real reason for selling is I recently bought a new Statement center Console and so I don't need two. I am selling this boat for way less than replacement value. Challenger is a company that went out of business back in 2010 when so many boat builders went bankrupt. They primarily build performance boats but built two center consoles. It is a good solid boat and if you've been following center consoles you know how crazy expensive they have gotten. Comes with a nice aluminum Rocket Trailer.
