1979 Challenger 32 Sailboat. Condition is Used.
Beam - 11.08’Draft - 4.83’Length - 32.83’Rigging - Sloop
Power - 45hp Perkins Diesel - working last in 2015 (on the hard since). Fuel tank removed for new 40 gal tank was not purchased or installed. 3 Interstate 12 V batteries
Hull - Fiberglass - Marine Surveyor Inspected & found to be structurally sound (no written report). Hull scraped below water line and anti-fouling coated. Exterior trim needs power washed and sealer.
Main Sail - Available (in storage) Main sail reefed and controlled from cockpit. Genoa sail with Roller furing system.Single hand sailing from cockpit capable.Lazy Jacks main sail.
Interior - New electrical wiring, gimbaled propane range/oven, new kitchen sink needed (faucet on board), light fixtures and interior decorating finishings are needed. See pictures attached. Original custom mahogany interior window trim available and ready for finishing
Exterior - 2 anchors with 100’ lines - bow and stern, side bumpers, dock lines, cockpit cushions, compass housing, stainless steel wheel. Dodger and full side curtains. No soft spots. Top side in fair shape, needs a painting. Shore power (2) plug ins one on port and starboard side away from cockpit and boarding.
Comfortable boat with wide beam for living aboard or weekend sailing. Handles well in heavy weather. Due to health, I’m unable to complete and care for a great boat.
