1976 Ranger
Description
1976 Ranger Bass Boat with at least one crack in the transom area near the motor (see pictures)
I purchased this boat in 2006; it has given me hours of enjoyment out on the lake but I don't know how to repair the transom.Boat and engine have not seen ocean water for the 12 years I have had it.
Engine: 1984 (or so) Johnson, 150 HP V6 VRO
Model: J150TLCRDSerial: J5967311
Case has several dings/holes (see pictures)Engine had lower unit rebuilt two seasons agoEngine controls have a choke button and stop button on the side of the boat alongside the gear shiftEngine started up for this season within several minutes.
Trolling Motor: Motor Guide X3 Series purchased a couple of years ago
Homemade Trailer. Since owning it, I have replaced...
+lift and wheel
+winch
+coupler
+axle, rims, tires+welding work to reinforce
-all of the lights work on trailer except the two over the driver side wheel well
Broken Transom: on the last run of last season, the boat took on some water due to cracks near the engine plate. It appears to me the transom would need to be replaced.
Most of the gauges don't work (battery gauge does work)
Replaced fuel separator 2008
Replaced ignition switch 2008Replaced lower floor 2016Boat has a live-well. Controls for this didn't work last season
Boat Cover: Bass Pro Shop purchased a couple of years agoThree older batteries charged up. Two large batteries for the Johnson Engine and one smaller for the trolling motor.
I have a 100% rating on eBay.
Best Wishes and happy bidding.
