Description

NO RESERVE auction.

The boating season is coming soon. Another month or so and you will be cruising to your favorite destination at the helm of this beauty. We are all familiar with high quality USA built Chris Craft boats. Even the engines are made here.

This boat spent the last two years on land in storage. The previous owner had almost no time to enjoy her.

“Bullet Proof” (“Lily of the Valley” in the past) is equipped with all you need to cruise in comfort:

Hot/Cold CruisAir SMX A/C

Kohler Generator

Simpson Laurence 12v Anchor Windlass with Danforth anchor

S/S BBQ Fridge Cockpit wet bar

Furuno open array radar with older plotter

VHF marine radio

Full sundeck canvas enclosure

Entertainment system in the main salon with flat TV, forward cabin DVD with TV

Hot/Cold water, 110v stove, Microwave

Sleep 5 if needed. Salon table can be lowered to make a double bed plus small bunk across.

Solid hardwood floor. Small floor hatch pieces are somewhere onboard.

Please check electrical panel switches for multiple onboard systems. All general specs of the boat is in one of the pictures.

The information I present here about this boat is based on a short description from the previous owner and recent photos. He doesn’t have extensive knowledge of this boat due to lack of use and is not available for questions.

All of the vessel’s systems were operable before the boat was put in storage. Both engines ran at that time, but the starboard engine needed and possibly still needs some work to be done. I don’t know what specific work needs to be done and the last owner doesn’t seem to know either. A mechanic only told him that the starboard engine needs some work. You can see in a few of the pictures that the heat exchanger was disconnected and is resting next to the engine. Possibly cloggedor leaking, that would be my guess. The engine hours (see in pictures) Strb-917 hrs. Port-918 hrs.

Nevertheless, any boat should be serviced properly and thoroughly after an extended hibernation.

What I would do is:

Change the batteries because the old set was not on charger during storage.

Check and clean thru hulls.

Check and top up both engines and genset fluids and add fresh fuel.

Change spark plugs and fuel filters.

Reconnect heat exchanger after checking it in any radiator shop for leaks. Put antifreeze.

Launch the boat and run engines with a mechanic you trust, if extra confidence needed, and go from there. If any engine work has to be done, it is the best to do it on the water. You can still enjoy being on the boat, plus engines can be properly checked and run.

Those Volvo Pentas are very good engines and commonly used in many marine and land applications. Parts are cheap and widely available. Volvo Penta has Chevy 454 block that every mechanic knows how to work with.

Don’t forget, the port engine didn’t need anything and was properly working; the starboard engine is for you to discover. Oil looks good in both engines. See pictures.

The worse case scenario, the starboard engine may need a rebuild. The best case scenario: a seasonal tune-up and off you go.

All pictures, except a few on the water, are only 3 days old at the time of listing and were taken by a local photographer and reflect the current condition of the boat. The boat can stay where is for about $170/mth as far as I know.

I have all the paperwork to transfer ownership of the boat to you. This is not state titled vessel. This is a USCG Documented vessel. Documented vessels don’t have a state title; they are Federally Documented which is a higher level of registration. The ownership is transferred by a notarized bill of sale on USCG form only. You can learn about it online.

I can arrange viewing of the boat during the auction. If you want to survey her – welcome to do it. After the auction end, if you win - you bought the boat. This auction sale is not subject of anything such as: viewing, survey, transport arrangements, etc. As is where is.

Welcome to call me 604-618-8825 I am on Pacific Time - 3 hours back from MD time.

Please have you finances arranged and honor your decision when placing a bid.
