1959 Chris Craft Sportsman 24' all original 283 Corvette engine mahogany boat

Very original, very solid and desirable Chris Craft, original Lake George boat. Factory #s matching 185 hp Chevrolet Corvette 283 in excellent running condition and powers the boat up to cruise/planing speeds with ease and efficiency. New stainless shaft and propeller professionally balanced....original Monel shaft included in the sale. Was ordered with the functional third seat, has original bilge pump which still works.
100% original red upholstery in quite good condition, especially considering age of the boat. Original bottom with a few replacement planks, swells quickly and evenly without any issues. I stripped the bottom of all old paint and primed/painted with 3 coats of the correct copper-bronze bottom paint used originally on these boats, along with the correct red and white bootstripe.
All hardware is present and the varnish is in good serviceable condition, but a fresh coat certainly wouldn't hurt. Original IvaLight, vintage Aqua-probe depth meter works occasionally, gauges function as should.
Boat is registered, used occasionally but never left in the water for more than weekend, is stored inside an enclosed barn when not used. A two year old Sea Lion trailer is included in the sale, has disc brakes (surge style) and supports the boat well, travels very nicely.
