Classic Wood "Tanja"Utility Boat (Chris Craft like)
2010 Tanja Tanja
Description
Thank you for looking at my post for a Classic reproduction of a Tanga Utility Boat.
Tanja is a good example of how a small wooden boat should be built in expectation of a long and useful life. She is the kind of small boat that will grab the attention of many onlookers. Tanja is a very big little motor boat and is a good example of a husky and well built hull.
This Tanja is 16 feet 10 inches in overall length. 16 feet on the waterline. 6' 4" in breadth. Draws 1' 8" of water. She is of round bilge and of very wholesome form.
Made of red cedar and still had a wonderful cedar aroma.
She is in very good condition and well maintained. Has been in storage in heated garage since 2014. She was built in 2009-2010. Hours are very low. She came with a full fuel tank and has never had fuel added to it. The 1 cylinder BMW diesel uses very little fuel.
Engine is a 7HP single cylinder BMW diesel sailing motor. Engine is quiet and has a unique sound all of its own. I have the receipts for all the service/maintenance that has been done. Always professionally winterized and is currently winterized.
Bottom is a soak bottom. Once soaked in spring it can sit out of water on hoist ready to go without soaking again.
Has custom made boat cover that is in need of some minor repair.
Trailer is a custome made 2010 that has one a few hundred miles on it.
