The 284 Amerosport has a 10‛ 2” beam, and the cabin makes full use of her spaciousness. With the double mid-cabin berth, the convertible dinette, and a very generous sized bed in the V-berth, this beauty sleeps 5-6 adults. The cabin is air-conditioned, heated, or screened as the day's outing or the week's cruise might require. The starboard side head compartment includes a sink, a toilet with electric flush that doubles as a seat for the shower. The galley includes a refrigerator, sink, stove, microwave and plenty of storage. A water heater keeps the water hot for the shower and sinks. Another incredible testament to Chris Craft ingenuity is a built-in very quiet generator that keeps everything powered up when you are away from the dock. The stereo sounds great and is Bluetooth compatible.

Twin engines in a boat this size is proof that Chris Craft used many features from their larger boats when building the Amerosport. This redundancy, along with the halon fire suppression system, the bilge gas fume detector, and the cabin carbon monoxide detector make this one of the safest boats of its class.

The Volvo Penta AQ205a engines with dual prop drives will cruise at a comfortable 25 and depending on the load, push her to about 38 MPH wide open. These low hour engines start and run perfectly. Everything has been maintained with no expense spared. She has only been enjoyed in fresh water.
