Up for sale is our gorgeous 2006 Cobalt 232 powerboat in the tri-colored hull option of Classic Navy and Citron boot-stripe.
This rare Cobalt is loaded with high dollar factory options, including the impossible to find 420HP 8.1L GXi 496 Volvo Penta motor! The Cobalt 232 from 2006-into 07 is the exact same boat as the 242. Exact hull, exact layout. It was re-badged to the 242 in late 2007. This boat is 26' overall with the extended swim platform.
It has extremely low hours (96) and it really shows. There isn't a cleaner, lower hour, better equipped 232/42 anywhere.
This garage kept Cobalt has always been babied and kept indoors . It has been a 100% Freshwater boat from day one and it is a sheet of glass from front to back. Everyone thinks it's a 2014 242-----It is rated to seat 13 people.

The upgraded Volvo Penta 420HP 8.1L engine was a $19,000 upgrade! It has a Volvo Duo Prop outdrive with stainless counter-rotating propellers that are flawless. This Cobalt is not only a head turner but it flat out performs. It handles big water and is ready for all water sports.

It has a large factory stainless Bimini top with Sunbrella canvas. It opens easily and gives a ton of shade to the entire cabin area. It also has the gorgeous stainless steel docking lights option. It has the removable bow filler cushions and the canvas covers are flawless.

It is extremely rare to find a 496 in the 232/42 model, but near impossible to find the unicorn 8.1L GXi 420HP HO 496 model, as very few were ever optioned this way. This boat is loaded with options. I have included the full list that were added to the boat when it was ordered. We are the second owners of this awesome boat and it has been great to us.

We added a few really cool custom add-ons that really set it apart from other boats. It has custom made Faux Teak decking on the rear swim platform and the walk-through.It is a soft, stain resistant padding that has an anti-slip surface and grips bare feet and shoes when wet. This is the same decking you can option on a brand new Cobalt. This was a $1500 add-on.

We also had Underwater LED lights added below the rear extended swim platform. This makes for an amazing glowing pool for night swimming and a really cool afterburner effect when cruising. This was a $1200 add-on. Led-lit stainless cup-holders surround the interior for a great evening glow. See pics below!

The boat has an upgraded stereo head unit with a USB input, XM Satellite Radio, new Polk Marine Certificated speakers, (6 total) a helm stereo remote that lets the driver control the stereo while driving, as well as a transom stereo remote to control the music from the rear of the boat.

The trailer is included with the boat. It is sitting on a Brand new 2018 Dual Axle Aluminum trailer. It has disc brakes, Diamond Step Fenders, custom aluminum mag wheels. The trailer was just purchased and was $4875. This is a private party sale- We are not looking for any trades as we just ordered a new boat. This boat has over $33K of factory options. It was right around $100K new.
