Listing my 2012 Formula 45 as we're looking to move up to a 60ft live aboard cruiser. I do not have a listing broker at the moment but that will change once we get another vessel under contract. Hopefully we can make a deal and pocket the savings, however if you are working with a broker I'm happy to work with them too. If you're looking at Formulas or Searays in the 40-50ft range, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. I guarantee it will be the nicest and best kept vessel you see. It's a fantastic boat for South Florida: you can cruise to the Bahamas/Keys in style, party on the weekends with 10 people or just take a slow evening ride by yourself.

Background
I purchased in Florida in 2016 from a 3-time Formula owner. It was his second 45 and 10th boat. The mattresses and bedding still had new tags on them. It's been lightly used to say the least! All scheduled maintenance on the engine, pods and generator has been performed annually (2017, 2018) since my purchase. I've run the boat locally and to the Bahamas (we just got back from a week in the Abacos). It's been great both on the hook and at marinas. Cruise is a smooth ride around 22 knots at 2800rpm burning 28gph. WOT is 3500 rpm at 30 knots burning 44gph. I was worried about running this size boat single handed since that's 80% of my usage, but it's been no problem at all. The Volvo joystick makes docking simple, but the DPS position holding is killer for running solo - it makes line handling or stepping below deck way less stressful. I have it washed every other week inside and out, with a waxing every 3-4 months (last was July 23 2018)
