RARE 59 Larson Falls Flyer, 500 Merc, Holesclaw, vintage fiberglass boat fins

RARE 1959 Larson Falls Flyer runabout with a 1959 Mercury outboard and a 1959 Holesclaw trailer.
It needs total restoration, so this is a serious project, but I've seen restored Falls Flyers of this type listed for sale for over $20,000. Bidding starts at $500.00 and there's no reserve, so maybe you might get lucky!
Overall, the fiberglass is pretty sound, but the transom needs replaced. The paint needs stripped, the fiberglass sanded down, cracks filled and new paint or gelcoat applied. The original windshield is included as a pattern for making a new one since the old one is broken in two pieces. Interior wood needs replaced, including vertical supports and seat bench supports and a forward floor section. Most of the original hardware is included except the beltline trim strip. The "Duck Tail" bow light is in very good condition with the only serious pitting being in the "chin" piece (see photo). Scoops are included with a couple extra NOS pieces. Full set of original "airplane" cleats (4) in very good condition. Beehive stern lights with repro tops I cast from an original part and new acrylic poles and two spares. Stern light brackets/sockets are original and need re-plated. Tail fin covers are missing, but I cast a plastic repro version from an original aluminum part and was planning to take it to a foundry to have new ones cast in aluminum, but never got around to it. There's now a company online that makes repro versions. You can buy theirs or have your own cast. I cast repro teardrop tail light lenses from an original. The dash I also cast from the original which was severely sun damaged. The left hand dash section and glovebox are original. It has the correct short shaft Atwood steering wheel. Original style decals are available online.
These boats went to the dealers with white gelcoat and either red or black striped hulls. A customer could, however, custom order a color from the Larson factory gelcoat chart. It appears this is the case with this one, making it even more rare. Under the white paint, the gelcoat appears to be beige. This is also evident between the red stripes on the hull. In 59, Larson offered a "sand" color and this was seen more commonly on their American model runabout. Perhaps this was the color applied originally. When I bought this boat, it still had some wood burl pattern vinyl on the dash, another unusual feature, but it would have worked well with a beige color. Sounds kinda classy for a little runabout!
No interior whatsoever - no seats and no interior side panels.
The Merc 500 is the 6 cylinder, 50 HP "dockbuster" model and it comes with the correct Quick Silver controls and a brass prop. I've never had the motor running. It comes with an extra power head and a bucket of spare parts, but I don't know the condition of any of this. It also comes with an extra cowling. Both cowlings are in good condition with small dings.
The trailer is a Holesclaw and is unique in that it has cast aluminum wheels, including an additional cast aluminum spare.
Bill of sale for the boat and motor and a title in my name for the trailer.
Bring a trailer to take everything home because it wouldn't be smart to tow this trailer with these old tires and bearings.
