Selling our beautiful 2001 Larson 290 Cabrio. 29' of pure spacious comfort. Two Mercruiser 5.0 Engines with no rust or corrosion and always maintained. Engines have 500 hours on them and start right up. Twin engines are a great feature incase you have issues with one you can always get home safely on the other engine. Also makes the boat much more stable since the weight is balanced in the cockpit as opposed to. Single engine that is placed in the middle. Boat is in very nice condition and always maintained. Bottom cleaned and zincs changed regularly. Sunbrella Bimini Top with arch. New Bluetooth head unit. Sun pad upfront to lay out and catch some sun. Windless anchor. Hot water heater, full galley kitchen with dual-burner stove. Bathroom has standup shower. Engine hatch lifts with the push of a button. Includes full camper enclosure. Fresh water sink and shower in transom. A/C works great. I have a tv and mount that I will include but we take it out when it is not going on a long trip - same thing for berth and aft mattresses. We always do our best to reduce the smell of mildew in the cabin. All lights work as they should including interior cabin lights and cockpit courtesy lights. Will include all the camper covers as well.
Issues: needs fridge in cockpit, Tv, 3 gauges out of 9 need to be replaced. One trim tab piston needs to be replaced...Everything else works as it should. Just want to be honest and disclose this upfront.
The twin engines are absolutely solid. We just went from Pompano to Miami Beach this past weekend for an overnight stay and had not one single issue. They fire right up and get on plane without any hesitation. This is a lot of boat for the money. Bottom just painted in December and has been cleaned by a diver every month since we owned it.
Perfect boat for weekend trips to the Keys or Bahamas but also easy enough to maneuver on a day trip to the sandbar. This boat is very clean and always well-kept. The exterior has a few dings and scratches from being docked in the water but overall this boat is as reliable as they come. We are moving out of our house and into a Condo in the next 60 days and will no longer have a dock. This has been a family boat and has always been reliable. We do not let the boat sit in the water weeks at a time without use. We enjoy this boat very much and use it 1-2 times every week with family and friends and we plan on doing so until the day it sells. We are sure it will make the next family very happy as well.
