For sale is a rare 1988 Mastercraft Barefoot ProStar 200 with a 1988 Yamaha 200 outboard. This is pristine for its age Barefoot 200. It obviuosly has low hours on the boat and motor.. The hull and deck are as close to a 9/10 that you could find. The interior is a 9.5/10 and is updated with original mastercraft grade vinyl. This boat comes with original Mastercraft trailer upgraded with brakes and factory Mastercraft cover. Trailer has two good load E tires and full brake system making it easy and safe to tow, boat has dual batteries. Yamaha gauges, and oiling system. These are owner upgrades, steering and gauges. Included in this sale is a Barefoot International boom, and the boom cables were replace with new USA made stainless cable. Also included is
a 4 blade 19 pitch Stainless ‘ported” propeller and spare 17” 4 blade Yamaha propeller. This boat is also equipped with extremely rare Speedo package. That includes dual GPS supplied Mastercraft electric speedometers, and removable rear bench seat. This one of the best barefoot boats that has been made. Owner Upgrades:
SeaStar Hydraulic Steering System with tilt wheel same part number/system as Mastercraft used in the 1993 on Barefoot models of this boat, it can be steered with one finger thru mushroom turns when using a ski course. Over a thousand dollar upgrade but well worth it.
Dual GPS driven Mastercraft Speedos no more funky pitot tube clogging issues
Mastercraft pop up mooring cleats (4) out of the way of the tow ropes “pop up” when you need them. Indispensable for “spring line” mooring in high winds. Aluminum fuel tank no issues with ethanol blended fuel corroding the tank.
Dual battery system with “Stinger” relay isolation, no “goofy” battery selector switch charging and isolation are automatic.
UPH Surge brakes added to the original single axle trailer utilizing same part numbers as stock Mastercraft dual axle trailers use, additional note Mastercraft was not using 19 character VINs in pre 92 trailers this trailer is "titled" and "serial number certified" in Colorado with the DMV making it registrable in all 50 states this can be a huge problems in states requiring a VIN to be plated and titled.
Bilge pump/float sw, new spark plugs, new impellor, new 4 blade ported prop. Everything works as it should. Top speed in the 50s
