Description

1998 Maxum 2400 SCR with 2005 Heritage trailer (both with clear titles). We are second owners of this boat and it is used in fresh water. Having owned it for 11 boating seasons, we were ready to upgrade to something a little bigger. Boat is very clean inside and out and well-maintained by a non-smoking family. Interior cushions and carpet are clean and stain-free. Cockpit carpet is clean and vinyl seats are still nice and white with no stains, tears, or mildew. The hull has been buffed and waxed annually and is free of damage, as well. We have replaced/updated numerous things over the years, which are noted below.
Engine:
- 5.7L Mercury with Alpha II outdrive (hour meter was optional for this boat and it did not come with one; has approximately 500 hours on it)- Trim Tabs
- Bellows, depth sounder, and gimble bearing replaced in 2010
- New spark plugs and wires; carb adjusted in 2011
- New battery charger in 2012
- Fresh water pump and new battery in 2015
- $1,400 drive service, which included new trim tab sender unit and solenoid, new shift cables, new shift linkage and drive fluid hose replaced in fall 2015. *Bellows and gimble bearing inspected at this service and were determined to still be in good working order.
Cockpit:
- Newer removable Berber cockpit carpet (paid $500 to replace)
- Newer camper canvas with screens (paid $4,800 to replace)
- Canvas mooring/cockpit cover
- Snap-on vinyl helm cover
- Compass recently replaced
- Transom shower
- Blue LED trim tab lighting
- Garmin GPS
Cabin:
- Head/toilet replaced in 2010
- Carry-on AC included
- Custom made, one-of-a-kind Lake Michigan galley countertop- Electric stove has been removed to install new countertop, but we still have it and the original countertop if buyer wants to reinstall stove.

Four new trailer tires were also installed before the boat was taken out of the water at the end of the 2016 season.
