This is a rare opportunity to own what many consider the classic muscle car of ski/water tow boats of the late 70's. This 1978 Correct Craft Ski-Tique is a 17ft Professional Ski boat that houses an inboard 302 V-8 power plant that was marinized by commander. Boats come up for sale regularly but to find one in this condition that has this kind of pedigree in the marine history books is something to take serious note of. She is a two owner boat that has spent her entire life in Wolfeboro, NH in Lake Lake Winnipesaukee making it a fresh water only vessel, great news for the worry of salt and corrosion issues. She has been in storage for four years and just received new plugs, oil and filter, drive service, carb rebuilt by Hobbs in Pelham, NH, had the rear driveshaft seal and fresh water pump replaced and many new hoses, as well as even right down to a new throttle cable for good measure.

As you can see from the pictures the visual and structural integrity of this gem is near showroom. The interior was redone a few years ago and has held up wonderfully. The extremely stout 302 sounds throaty and confident coming from the factory through hull dual exhaust. Floors are rock solid and has just been out on the lake this week and performed very well.

The boats trailer is in excellent shape and is believed to be original as well. All electrical on it works as it should and tires, wheels, and bearings are all in good working order. I do have the swim platform for the rear and it is in great shape. There is not currently a boat cover that will come with this machine.

As with anything with some age to it there are a few odds and ends to dial in. The speedometer and gas gauge do not work and the temperature gauge acts up on occassion but has not been replaced.

If you are looking for a fast and reliable conversation piece that is just as comfortable entertaining friends for drinks watching fireworks as it is skipping the kids around on inner tubes look no further. Boats like this, in this kind of condition, are just not around anymore. Buy a boat that is only going UP in value for a change and show those around you that you have an eye, and a nose, for finding the quality deal instead of the money pits too often found these days!

Flaws: Gas gauge and Speedo do not work. Boat was clay bard front to back, it needs a good buffing to bring backthe shine. Drivers seat has a small separation on the upper seam, no more than 2 inches long and an easy fix. Swim platform is not mounted on the rear. I have it is in great shape and is included in the sale. Previous owner took it off and filled the holes so that the boat would fit in his garage when he took it out of the water after it was used for the weekend. I do not have a cover for it.
