The Skout series has a tunnel hull designed to plane and run in extremely shallow water when set up correctly. Skout boats are very well respected and built here in Texas for coastal use. This one has a jackplate to allow the motor to run high in the tunnel so only the skeg protrudes below the hull bottom when on plane. The shallowest running is 5-6 inches of water on plane and get up on plane in 8 inches on a soft bottom spinning the boat on holes-hot. The bottom is flat and will skid sideways in sharp high speed turns which can be advantageous believe it or not, just hold on. They use a glass stringer system and have never heard of broken stringers or delaminated hulls or decks. This is a very effective shallow water fishing boat. There is a small surface crack from the cabinet door. This is not a structural issue as it is on the top bolt on deck. It is solid. Only a the fiberglass separated a little. Probable from a large person stepping on the edge of the locker. It is a 10 year old boat so please don’t judge it in like new condition. I guarantee the engine and sea worthyness of the boat. No electronics, and no cover. You can pull it anywhere. Guaranteed no salvage no flood no accident. Clean clear title to boat and engine with Texas registration papers for the trailer.
