Description

1998 Fish-Rite aluminum drift boat (16') in nice used condition. Boat has some road gravel chips in paint from towing down dirt roads, but hull, chines, etc are sound and ready for the river. As expected for an older boat, some of the paint (the speckled paint they put on aluminum) on the interior of the boat, particularly in high wear areas, has been worn off. Boat sits on a very nice Baker galvanized trailer with step grates and spare tire - tires on trailer have lots of tread. Included with boat and trailer are wood sawyer oars with oar rights, 30 lb anchor and rope, and cover (the cover has a few holes in it that have been patched (see photos). There are three seats in the boat and some are missing some of the padding, but all are functional. Boat also has a stern casting rail. This boat has lots of storage area (under bow, locking cargo bench seat in front, locking cargo bench in center and locking cargo bench in rear). Currently set up for no motor and has a center stern dierks anchor bracket. If you want to put a motor on this boat you would have to remove the current rear mount anchor bracket and install a side mount (~ $90 new). Don't let the age fool you - this boat was used for about 4 or 5 years when new and has been used as a row boat on an inland lake since. This is a high quality aluminum drift boat in very nice condition. You will not be disappointed. Boat is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction if the boat sells locally.
