Health forces sale. I am advertising this boat here and in the PNW, this boat will go to the best cash offer (as is, where is) received by month end.
As this boat is advertised elsewhere this auction can be terminated at any time.
Classic Grand Banks woody, purchased from the Grand Banks Dealer, it was owned by one of the partners who passed away. It had a good survey. It is also unmolested and has thehighly desireable Grand Banks features such as the stainless fridge with the classic "freezer style" wood door as well as the steady sail mast. All bronze railing stanchions and many bronze fittings.
In the fall of 2015, I had a 2-season bottom paint done, new zincs and the prop anti-fouled.
The Lehman diesel was fully serviced including all belts, fluids and filters. The gearbox oil was changed. The refrigeration was recharged and a new heating element installed in the hot water tank. This boat has “great bones” but needs cosmetic attention.
A great choice to cruise to Alaska or Mexico (1,000 mile range) and a very comfortable live aboard. This is a heavily built classic trawler, with a loving owner sheshould be ableto ply our waters for years to come.
Equipment includes: Webasto Diesel Heater / King built in Electric Heat / Force 10 3-burner stove & oven / Propane Locker and 2 tanks / Pressure Water / Electric Head with Holding Tank / Shower & Sump / Radar / 2 GPS / 2 VHFs / Depth Sounder / new Power Windlass / LCD TV / Alpine Stereo / Blue Ray DVD Player / New Bridge, Flag Pole and Handrail Canvas / New Window Covers etc..
I've suffered a stroke and can't do my own paint or varnish anymore, this has left the boat in need of house paint (the hull is fine) and rear deck varnish. (Rails have covers). The house has had the woodwork done and is 75% sanded and prepped, but requires a coat of paint.
This is a great boat, but needs an owner that can take care of regular bright work. I will look at reasonable offers as is, or perhaps a vehicle as partial trade.
