I own Bayside Boat Rentals in Ocean City MD. I am selling my 2009 Godfrey Sweetwater 23ft Pontoon Boat. The boat is powered by a 2008 Mercury 60hp Power Trim & Tilt 4-Stroke EFI Outboard Engine with 1650 hours on the motor. This boat was purchased by me brand new and added to my fleet in August 2008. This boat is rated for 13 passengers and has the upgraded oversized pontoons. I have been in business since 1999 and always do the proper maintenance to all of my equipment. I have always fully serviced this motor every 100 hours since the day of purchase. The motor will be fully serviced one last time before the boat is picked up from buyer. This means you will not have to service the motor again until you put another 100 hours of use on it. I have recently replaced the water pump in the past month.
The engine has a lot of hours on it, but is still in good running condition. The one thing I know could be replaced are the 2 upper and 2 lower motor mounts on the engine. They have become worn out over time so I would recommend having them replaced. This is not something that has to be done, But simply my suggestion to the new owner.
The outer panels on the boat and the side rails and corners have there fair share on bumps and bruises. The side rail on the left side is missing from getting hung up on the finger pier. The vinyl deck and wood flooring of the deck are solid. The vinyl upholstery has been seriously damaged and dried out over the years from the sun. This means the seats are torn and dried up from the vinyl breaking down from the harsh elements of mother nature. The captains seat was just replace last year. The canopy has mildew on the bottom but overall is in very good condition covering about 40% of the boat.
The steering helm has a working gas gauge, RPM gauge, volt gauge. The stereo is in working condition and boat has all good working navigation lights. The panel switches that work the radio and lights are working, But I am not sure about the other switches.
The boat will include all of the on board equipment required by the coast guard. That is 13 life vests, throw cushion, fire extinguisher and a whistle.
This boat can be picked up immediately or shrink wrapped, winterized and stored here for the winter for and extra $300. Then I will spring prep for free and you can pick it up next spring.
