1991 Seaswirl 25' Aft cabin in Marina
1991 Seaswirl Cordova 230
Description
25'ft Aft Cabin Weekender currently in a slip on the Metedeconk River.
1991 Seaswirl 230 Cordova.
Engine: Single OMC Cobra 5.7 350 engine. No hours meter - no idea how many hours but I guess original engine.
Mechanical: Three batteries - two brand new this summer. Battery charger, shore power, hot water heater, water pump for fresh water system, automatic bilge pumps.
Done this summer - bottom painted, impeller & pump replaced, serviced shift cable, replaced points, replaced two batteries, replaced water pump, pulley and thermostat.
The engine runs but is getting hot after awhile under power which is why we replaced the water pump and thermostat. The boat will probably need either risers or manifolds to finally fix the problem. After camping on the boat this summer our family has decided to get a bigger boat so we did not want to go full out and replace the manifolds and risers and do more maintenance at this late date in the season. Price reflects the need for some work - Sale AS-IS
Full camper salon top with screens in very good condition.
Boat capacity is listed for 12. There is a removable bench seat for two on the back (good condition) and an L-shaped seat over the aft cabin (cushion removed to replace). We have several yards of marine vinyl for the next owner to complete the cushion and bumpers. The captains' chair is worn and a bit faded but not ripped up. The bumpers are faded with a bit of wear on points. The bench seat for the back is in good condition.
Included in the sale is a Garmin and a Kenwood CD Stereo system.
Inside the cabin is freshwater tank with sink, AC/DC refrigerator, sleeping for 4-6.
Comfortable would fit up to three adults or a couple with kids. There is the V-berth, dining table converts to bed, and an aft cabin berth. Lots of storage. Interior fabric was redone (except for dinette seats) with marine fabric. We have the extra fabric. There is a separate head with a porta potty. The interior is in good condition.
We purchased the boat this summer as first time boaters and have decided that we want to move up to a bigger boat with a bit more room to accommodate our large extended family.
Trailer is not included.
