Malibu Sunsetter

Description

This is a 1990 Malibu Sunsetter which was diasembled due to some rot in the floor several years ago. The cushions were not stored well and there is damage to the seat bases and to some of the vinyl. The hull is in good condition although it needs buffing. The stringers seem to be ok except where the pylon lags into the stringer. The engine has a cracked block and will need a new short block. The pevious owner said the boat was working well 2 1/2 years ago and has a new carb. The boat will need a new floor, carpet, interior, short block and and buffing. An interesting bit of history is that this Malibu was custom ordered originally for Rick Hendrick in of Hendrick Motorsports fame in 1990. This boat deserves to be put back together and restored to its fomer glory. It's a big project and it needs a new home and a complete restoration.
