SUNCAT 16 welded aluminum Catamaran hull 2014 Very Low HR
2014 Suncat
Description
Bought this hull and trailer as a new leftover form NJ dealer April 2015. I've used it about 15-20 hrs at the most since. All fresh water, never salt.Selling this to go bigger. No other reason. The 2000 70HP Johnson on it has only a few hundred hrs and was aways fresh water use. Runs as it should. The common fuel/ oil issues were addressed by very qualified Johnson mechanic. Disabled the internal electronics that control oil mixing and now premixed fuel is used. Motor starts, shifts and runs great. The Cat hull rides quite nice in the chop as most cats do.Things to note that make this unique- custom Stainless bow rails, custom stainless rod holder/ backrest. Twin underwater LED lights(nice and bright blue) The Lowrance Hook 5 (not shown on boat) is only three months old and current. Trailer has new full spare added. Built in live well!I have the service manual for the Johnson, and both titles (boat and trailer) in hand. Comes with quality trailer cover (not shown).Originally came set up for a Mercury outboard. I have the Merc controls I removed that can also go with. Current gauges need calibration to the Johnson to work proper(if it matters to you). I get accurate speed readings from the Lowrance anyway.Boat rides very nice and sips fuel. Light enough to be pulled by any car.Great Boat for the $. Boat does show signs of weathering for the 2 years at the dealer prior to purchase. It is not a NEW flawless boat. Selling as is where is. I've kept covered since owning. I'm the only one ever to drive the boat so I know the history- Never in salt- never touched bottom- no damage. I have 3 high quality brand new seats that upgrade the stock ones shown. I will be installing them this week end and reposting new pics showing them. Only flaws are a few areas of paint chipping on the rails from poor factory prep that can use touch-up if you are fussy, an easy fix.
Please feel free to ask questions and I encourage in person inspections. But that's exactly how they look!
