20' LIFEBOAT

Description

This is a 20' lifeboat off of a scrapped german ship. It was shipped to florida where i got it and brought to okla. I was going to make a putt putt cruiser of some kind but now i can't. The little deutz diesel only burns 1/4-1/2 gal an hr, thats cheap cruising. Will need the rest of the paint sanded or (sandblasted) some minor fiberglass repair, cosmetic, a new rudder, old one is in there and a good pattern will also need new tiller, needs rudder hdwr, the diesel has only approx 2 hrs run time never saw action, just hung out on the side of the ship. The propellar shaft was missing but i have one to go with it. It will just need to be measured and cut. The propellar is bronze and in great condition. A very nice blank slate to do with whatever you like. The external cowls, and things have been taken off of motor and beadblasted ready to paint. Has zf transmission also manuals, the trailer in the photo does not go with it but i have one i was going to fix for it. Would only need tires to get it home. This i will have done by p/u time.
