This vintage hydro is a one off build by the Late Harry Goar of Mattoon Ill.
Built in 1959 and raced thru the 60's this boat won the NOA championship in its day....The hydro is a cabover and also a laydown.....It is setup as a laydown.....This hydro sports a vintage Merc Mark 58 44cubepowerhead and a racing merc tower and lower unit. (The original motor was a mod mark 55h not included)
It is a very fun boat to drive and has won and gone to many shows including TOMAHAWK outboard meet

I did speak to the driver of this boat as seen in the black and white photo some years ago and visited his house near Mattoon Il. and saw all the trophies and heard all the stories.....he was 90 years old when I interviewed him.... many newspaper articles were written when I restored the hydro
