Description
Turn of events, folks. Anthony J Pittman (tnyjpttmn) was the high bidder but when we sent him the invoice, he said he wanted to see the boat before he paid for it. He refused to pay a deposit, refused to use paypal, and even refused to bring cash and see it in person. Anyway, we're re-listing it. We are honest people with a perfect score on ebay and this really makes it difficult to trust people. Yes, I reported him to ebay. Regardless... We will put this at a 3-day sale in case any of the earlier bidders want it as soon as they can get it. We bought this boat at an auction, in need of restoration, from the original owner and restored it to about 90 percent done. We have not put it in water yet and we do not have it titled in our name, it will be a bill-of-sale. So, although we're the middle man, you can honestly say it had just one owner/operator. The motors have not run for many years. They turn-over with good compression. Sanded several times, repainted, re-varnished and re-finished. It's beautiful. All of the wood is solid, no soft spokes. Seats need to be re-covered and the bow light is missing. Trailer has new tires and rims, new lights, new wiring, new safety chains, new jack. Will not separate trailer from boat. They go together. Will include ladder, boat cover, life jackets and two six-gallon fuel tanks. Has new fuel lines. Original canvas top needs repaired or re-done.
