1998 63' Herreshoff schooner

1998 Herreshoff schooner, 63' on deck, 70' overall. Draft 7'The original owner had it built by a shipyard in Florida, but got too old to ever live his dream of world cruising. Now I have taken over this magnificent vessel and am selling her. The sails and engine are in excellent condition, as they have hardly ever been used. The engine is a 120hp Ford Lehman with only 120 hours on it. These engines are extremely durable and low maintenance. The fuel tanks are full, with a good 1000 gal of fuel, ready for delivery pretty much anywhere in the world.The standing rigging was re-done and looks really good.The boat was recently hauled, surveyed and the steel hull was ultrasounded. The results came back very good, and I have a copy available to view.The interior of the boat needs some work, it is usable, but cosmetically in needs some finishing.

The interior photos start at the bow and work their way back to the aft stateroom. The boat basically has 3 cabins. All the way forward is a work room, there is an overhead hatch to use this forward area for crews quarters if desired. Behind this room is a room with bunk beds and its own refrigerator. Behind these 2 areas, is a private cabin with a bed and the asian style drawers, as well as a bunch of cabinets for storage. Across from this cabin is the head. It is very nice. It has a great shower, and a full size electric head. Continuing aft, you go into the galley. It has granite counters. a 2 refrigerators, etc. Behind that is the main salon with a huge table, across from a nav table. Now you go thru a small hallway under the center cockpit with the engine room to port, and into the aft cabin. It has great storage, and a big nice bed. There is an unfinished aft head in the cabin to port.
